The Young Punx have built off the success of Phonat’s recently released LL Ton J remix, and have churned out one of their best pieces of funky house music that we have heard in years. We respect TYP for their care-free attitude to attack multiple genres of music due to their extremely high level of musician talent, but we definitely have missed the days where house music was top of mind for the group. We feel lucky that they have created another master piece for all to enjoy – this one will be a long-term bomb for any serious dance music fan. Read more

The single ‘SugarCandySuperNova’ has been brought to life by Han Hoogbrugge with some sort of robot-sex-inuendo visual feast, and the likes of Per QX, Acid Girls, Redroche, Superfrank, Jemex and Dunproofin’ (with a very cheeky Punx meets Chic bootleg) have all given the original a wicked re-rub.

Calling in remix favours from fellow stirrers of the scene: First in the party is Per QX, founder of Gutterslut, creating a gritty electro workout. Meanwhile LA’s Acid Girls bring their own unique blend of cool weird electro to the party. Superfrank arrives armed with guitar blended big beats. Redroche provides the big room house banger and Dunproofin arrives with a totally illegal tasty bootleg mashup.
The track already has the blogs buzzing and has already spent a week at number three in the ‘We Are Hunted’ remix chart which monitors all blog, radio and general hype on a track on the whole net.
