One of the dopest 2005 vocals recorded in support of house music headz gets the mash-up treatment with one of 2005′s grooviest house choons. These days, the demand for dance floor entertainment has become so intense, remixing is for suckers, and mash ups seems to be viable option for music sales.
It’s hard to see two high quality tunes get abused in such a manner, but considering one of the original artists (NOIR) seems to be one of the driving forces behind this release, the legitimacy is perhaps somewhat acceptable. Realizing the buzz on his Wyze release, he has re-edited the vocals over Nu Rhythmix’s “Babylon” track which was embraced by the deep & funky house community this year. Considering the original Wyze release was more of a pounding, tribal house track on the darker side of things, it is bitter sweet to now hear this vocal over a more positive feeling… Read more
