A row between a world-famous nightclub and property developers highlights a conflict between the right to protection from noise and the right to have a good time. The Ministry of Sound nightclub is fighting a battle to stop a new residential development being built nearby which, it says, could spell the end for the club after nearly two decades.

Ministry of Sound will be celebrating their 15th birthday of being on
the fore-front of club culture by throwing their biggest party of the
year.
The weekend-long birthday bash with take place September 8th
through the 10th at their London location where it all started.

Hed Kandi & Enterprise records join the Ministry of Sound fold today in a surprise acquisition.
Today it was revealed that Ministry of Sound had acquired the record label Hed Kandi along with the Enterprise Records division of Smooth FM (formerly Jazz FM) from Guardian Media Group Radio Holdings for an undisclosed sum. The acquisition includes all associated labels of the GMG Radio Records division including One Two Records.

Hed Kandi is a brilliant brand with great integrity, built very skilfully by the team over many years.
