Justice – Audio, Video, Disco

Justice

The Parisian Shaggy-Hair Mafia, aka Justice, return with a new video that makes their fascination with ‘70s prog rock even more explicit. White keyboards! Red leather! Gnomes!

The song “Audio, Video, Disco” features on their forthcoming album of the same name, due out on October 25.

Justice – Return From Studio Exile

Justice

As reported on The Daily Swarm, and subsequently on InTheMix, it seems the French duo are definitely back.

Now it looks as though the Ed Banger duo are ready to return to the spotlight, with the first details of their 2011 comeback revealed online.

As reported by The Daily Swarm, frequent design collaborators Surface To Air unveiled the above image over the weekend, which is apparently the cover art to the new Justice single called Civilization. The internet is already in a tizz about the teaser image and its accompanying video though no other information is available including release dates, remixes, etc.

Justice – Halloween 2010 DJ Mix

Justice

Very little information on this shared by the team at El3ctronight, but what else do you need? It’s Justice. It’s recorded live from a French radio station. It rocks!

Justice – Back In The Studio

Justice

If their high ranking on the recent ITM contributor poll – dance music’s 30 greatest live acts – is anything to go by, then the allure of French electro lads Justice has not waned in the three years since the release of their debut album, †. So just like any other dance fan out there, we’ve been hungry for information on the duo’s return, and although there have been a few pieces of news signaling some activity at camp Justice, it’s been largely quiet on the whole.

That is until we spoke to Ed Banger head honcho and Justice’s manager, Busy P on Friday night. On his way out here to storm the decks as a part of the 2010 Parklife festival, we quizzed Busy P – or Pedro Winter away from the turntables – for a little juice about the return of Justice and he was all too happy to oblige, confirming that Justice have indeed commenced work on their next album!

Club 75 – Busy P, Justice, Cassius and DJ Mehdi

Club 75

Liberté, égalité, fraternité: call it the motto of the DJ supergroup known as Club 75. Its members—Justice‘s Xavier de Rosnay, Busy P, DJ Mehdi, and Cassius‘ Zdar and Boombass—came together in 2004 for a no-holds-barred throwdown they described as simply “a bunch of friends, no musical limits, backstage-on-stage”.

They revived the concept (if a bunch of bros getting wasted on the decks can really be called a “concept”) last fall at Paris’ Social Club, and this year—perhaps having found the Social Club’s DJ booth too crowded for five lanky dudes—they took the spectacle to the considerably roomier Coachella festival.

Justice Announce Their Comeback

Justice Announce Their ComebackThose French maestros of distortion, Justice, clearly have a decent pair of heads on their shoulders. Having smashed onto the scene with their widely loved Cross album and subsequent live DVD A Cross The Universe, the pair of Xavier de Rosnay and Gaspard Auge have wisely opted to stay mainly in the shadows in 2009. Well it would seem as though the Parisian pair are at last ready to re-emerge from hibernation, planning a live comeback over New Years.

Justice Readies Next Album For 2010 Release

Justice Readies Next Album For 2010 ReleaseThose titans of Parisian electro, Justice (pictured here getting rather chummy with their fearless leader Busy P), have been busy boys since releasing their world-smashing debut album back in 2007. Since then, the pair of Xavier de Rosnay and Gaspard Auge has trekked across the globe with a slew of sold-out tours, released a rather polarizing live CD/DVD, pimped out Coca-Cola, won a Grammy and turned in remixes for U2 and Lenny Kravitz, the latter of which we’d rather not talk about.
