An interesting day as a reviewer for FHMDC, as we have two very different remixes of one original composition. We first get served with a quirky, infectious, underground remake by Mr. Oizo that is bursting with a sound that only a select few can accomplish through digital music production. This type of audio blast could have easily existed in the 1990′s in the underground rave scene, yet still sounds fresh in today’s further fragmented electronic music scene. Following on Mr. Oizo’s success, we have the funky, and very fun, production sounds of Fare Soldi who are demanding our attention these days. It seems everything they touch oozes with quality, and their attention to detail and diversity is quite remarkable. Highly recommended for the funkier, disco floors, as the floor will be in a blaze as soon as the “drums please” sample graces ears. Nice touch! Read more
