Do I need to remind you I signed him for darker sounds like “Head/off”, “Shoot” or “HAL”? Did you know Daft Punk said he delivered the best remix they ever had for “Human After All”?

When I heard “Embody” for the first time I imagined Prince and Sebastian in Paris, sharing a glass of wine in a smoky basement. He surprised me and I hope you’ll be touched too.

As insane as it even seems to type, electronic innovator and longtime homeboy of the Warp Records stable, Squarepusher, will be releasing his next record on the home of all things noisy and French, Ed Banger.

The curious convergence of worlds will be released on Ed Banger later this month bearing the title of Squarepusher presents Shobaleader One, with a track called Cryptic Motion, complete with a remix from reliable Ed Banger jammer Mr Oizo.
