It’s always more a matter of when, not if someone would recreate the next unreleased Duck Sauce track. We now have that thanks to Bastille. Unlike a lot of other artists when Barbra first came out, Bastille went back and using the same sample from The Member’s “Radio” and managed to remake the track quite nicely.

Coachella is a classy affair, my favorite music festival in America. I’ve played there a few times over the years: in 1999 with Q-Bert and Mixmaster Mike. In 2006 with Kanye. In 2008 with Kid Sister. But this year felt extra special. First of all because I was playing twice: solo and with Duck Sauce. And second, because Chromeo was also on the bill so it was a family affair. It felt like the culmination of years of going there with various collaborators and eating the spicy pizza in the VIP tent.

Drum roll please as we give you not one, but two of the most in demand and talented DJ’s and Producers of our generation. 3 Beat are proud to announce our latest signing the duo of A-Trak and Armand Van Helden, collectively known as Duck Sauce.

A-trak started out as a hip-hop DJ winning the DMC World DJ Championship an incredible 5 times (the first aged 15). Since then he has managed to merge rap and electronic music via his label Fool’s Gold and has worked closely with Kanye West, Kid Cudi, DJ Am & Boys Noize.

Armand Van Helden is a household name and deservedly so. AVH has had countless number 1’s and created some of the biggest dance records and remixes EVER – You Don’t Know Me, Bonkers, My My My, Professional Widow etc.

Together they form a deadly duo and call themselves Duck Sauce.

You couldn’t escape their first single aNYway, it was an anthem last summer with DJ’s from across every genre smashing it out. Now they are back in 2010 with Barbra Streisand. Since its arrival at the Miami Music Conference there has been a frenzy of DJ’s, record labels and clubbers all trying to get their hands on it. And here you have it, an infectious peak time anthem that’s guaranteed to rock any party. Barbra Streisand is disco house at its finest, whether you hear it in the clubs or on the radio it instantly puts a smile on your face and makes you move and that’s what dance music is all about!
