The new site is filled with a lot of the content on the previous sites, but with a slicker look to reflect the Hatrax branding.

Blow Media just added 8 new releases to their summer lineup.
Just a few weeks ago, Toronto’s Blow Media unveiled their next four releases after taking a short break from their hectic release schedule.
And with the unexpected announcement of these eight, it seems they’re back in full swing – and then some.

After a short break from a seemingly unending slew of new tracks, Blow Media is back with four new upcoming releases.
In June and July the label is scheduled to put out new originals and remixes from Chris Kaeser, Marbrax, Da Skunk, Hatiras, and the curiously named Dr. Shney featuring Sixty Cent.

Well yes, actually. We’re not quite sure how they’re going to be able to keep up this pace, but at this point we’re ready for anything. Last month we were shocked that the label was releasing a track a week, and now they’ve doubled that.

Hatiras and Macca: Blow Media Radio has just launched on Toronto’s Energy 105FM, and is also podcast around the world via iTunes.
Airing each Thursday from midnight to 2am, the show features two hours of music courtesy of Blow Media. The first hour features the latest popular club tracks and exclusive previews of upcoming Blow Media material, and is presented in a traditional radio format, with Hatiras and Macca talking to the audience and letting them know what songs are being played.

Yes, we cover Blow Media probably a little more than we should. But with a release schedule like this, it’s hard not to. Releasing an average of about a track a week at this point, it looks like Blow has pulled out the heavy-hitters for September.
Stepping up to the plate is a comprehensive remix package of the Blow classic by DJ Dan & Hatiras “Love For the Weekend”, featuring a new 2006 remix by Hatiras, an instrumental of that remix, as well as Steve Smooth and JJ Flores’s hard hitting interpretation. Also included are radio edits for the two vocal cuts.

Everytime the FunkyHouseMusic.com crew checks out Blow Media’s website we are shocked to find a slew of new and upcoming digital-only releases that we didn’t even know existed.
In the next ten days alone three new tracks are scheduled to hit the digital streets: “Just Do It” by DJ Ortzi (today, August 21), “The Rooster” by label-head Hatiras and Jaxon (August 24th), and “40,000 Years of Funk” by Adam K and Shawn Austin (August 31st). And just last week the online world was introduced to Jacques Bauer’s “Abandon Ship!”.

A collaboration between Hatiras, Macca, and Jaxon, “Before the Sunrise” marks Blow Media’s venture into the popular dirty electro house sub-genre. Offering up the track as an exclusive download on www.beatport.com, the label has picked a great vehicle for their stylistic departure, as electro house’s popularity is fueled by the digital download scene.

Blow Media delivers us a sneak peak at two hot new remixes of the 2005 hit.
The original ‘Love for the Weekend’ was a collaboration between Blow Media artists DJ Dan and Hatiras, and was one of the label’s most popular tunes.
The Hatiras 06 mix is similar in feel to the original, but cleans things up with a simpler, smooth feel that retains the original’s trademark bassline.
Steve Smooth and JJ Flores’ presents the opposite side of the spectrum – a hard hittin’, synth-heavy electro workout.
