A few weeks ago, the ever-expanding Beatport brand added the latest weapon in it’s digital arsenal – Beatport Sync.
Almost like an ‘iTunes for DJs’, Beatport Sync is based on Native Instruments’ Traktor DJ software, letting users seamlessly integrate tracks in a digital recreation of a DJ set, while automatically matching the beats.

Preparations for Remix Hotel Miami 2007 are rolling right along for the fifth annual event, to be held March 22’25 at the National Hotel in South Beach, with presenting sponsors Microsoft and Beatport.
Joining Premier Technology Partner Apple are a host of Technology Partners, from Akai, Cakewalk and Digidesign to Mackie, Open Labs, and Moog.
The Remix Hotel provides hands-on access to the technology and equipment used to create today’s electronic and urban music via artist presentations and demonstrations, workshops, clinics and discussion. The popular online digital store just went through a major overhaul, adding an improved interface and new features.
Some of the features include a ‘My Beatport’ section, which allows a user to subscribe to their favorite artist, label, or genre. Once subscribed, the system notifies the user when one of their subscriptions has new music. Other shopping improvements include new community drive features such as ‘Users Also Bought’ and ‘Email to a Friend’.
A premium design change for version 3.0 is the much-improved landing pages designed to better showcase the genres, artists and labels and their related content. Continued improvements have been made to the navigation adding several powerful filtering tools to improve shopping speed delivering measurable improvements to both our customers and label partners.
