Didn’t know that Jump Jump Dance Dance did remixes so I really didn’t know what to expect when their remix of the forthcoming single The Aston Shuffle single, “Start Again”, arrived in the inbox. It totally caught me by surprise, it’s got a smooth bassline, some cowbell and hints of funky guitar. It’s a bit Twelves-like actually, like, early Twelves and therefore pretty rad. Expect to see this one in a fair few mixtapes/charts over the next month.

With their feather-filled cap practically over flowing with riches, ITM caught up with one half of the Canberra club slayers, Vance Musgrove, to get the skinny on how The Aston Shuffle are handling their leap to dance music stardom, where they’ll be going from here and the surreality of supporting global mega-poppers Black Eyed Peas on their recent tour…
