Akai APC20 Ableton Controller

Don’t have enough loot for a full Akai APC40? Well now you can still take your Ableton Live sets to the next level with the Akai APC20 Ableton Controller. Create Digital Music has the full lowdown as part of their 2010 NAMM coverage:

Ableton Live-specific controllers just got another addition. You probably could have guessed this would come out, following the APC40 and Novation’s grid-only Launchpad last year, but the Akai APC20 is the new, smaller sibling to Akai’s APC40. FunkyHouseMusic.com Version 2.0

It’s been just over five years since we first launched FunkyHouseMusic.com and for a while it was becoming clear that it was time to upgrade from our original completely custom website format to a more standard, flexible, and extensible website architecture — one that would allow us to better connect with you our readers in this new age of social media. After hundreds of lines of code and many hours of hard work, we’ve managed to import all of our content from day one into our new site, which is founded on a WordPress back-end. It’s been a long time coming, but we are excited about all of the possibilities the future holds…

Here’s a short summary of some of the new features of FunkyHouseMusic 2.0:

Social Sharing
Want to share something with your social network?  At the bottom of every post are links to share that post on many of the popular social networking and social bookmarking sites such as Facebook, Twitter, Myspace, Digg, Tumblr, StumbleUpon, Reddit, and Yahoo Buzz.

The search box at top of the page allows you to search the full text of the entire site — no need for an external search engine to find what you are looking for.

Sharooz – Saccharin (Sonic C Remix)

Sharooz - Saccharin (Sonic C Remix)The Young Punx label buddy and fellow fan of all things filthy & electronic, Sharooz, has just dropped this as the debut for his new label, La Bombe.
