As reported by Stereogum, the Jaxx lads are set to release the Zephyr EP in early 2010, piecing the record together from the leftovers of the band’s Scars sessions. Whilst the physical release is being held off until 2010, presumably to keep people buying that new album they only just released, the duo are streaming a teaser of the EP on their website right now. How nice of them!

Those French maestros of distortion, Justice, clearly have a decent pair of heads on their shoulders. Having smashed onto the scene with their widely loved Cross album and subsequent live DVD A Cross The Universe, the pair of Xavier de Rosnay and Gaspard Auge have wisely opted to stay mainly in the shadows in 2009. Well it would seem as though the Parisian pair are at last ready to re-emerge from hibernation, planning a live comeback over New Years.

The new all encompassing music search function sees Google partner up with a host of online outlets to provide curious music lovers with streaming search results for their queries. Indeed, they’ve geared so that you can type in the name of an artist, a song, or even a snippet of lyrics to a song and find something ready for streaming. Pretty nifty, ain’t it?
