It must be a measure of Danny Howell’s success that even though he hasn’t visited our shores for nearly two and a half years, there’s plenty lot of anticipation surrounding his impending return. This enviable reputation that he’s built up for himself has a lot to do with his ‘chameleon’ approach to his DJ sets. While he was tagged as one of the ‘progressive’ up-and-comers earlier in the decade when he was chosen by the Global Underground label to front one of their Nu-Breed releases, he’s since become known as a performer that takes an unpredictable approach to house music that can see him dropping everything from mainroom bangers to deeper selections, progressive to techno, or whatever else he can get his mits on…
