Here is a cartoon version of Mike Monday as he sails through various adventures in his animated album artwork world, filled with sneaky cats and flying guitar synths, with tracks in the background from his forthcoming album due out in September on Om Records titled, ‘Songs Without Words’. A dabbler of many genres, Mike refuses to be pigeonholed into any one sound on this album, running the spectrum from house, funk, and hip hop to disco, chillout and techno. So far, it’s already garnered support from the likes of Peter Kruder, Claude Von Stroke, Dirt Crew, Funk D’Void, Ralph Lawson and more…
