The U.S. release/remix package recently surfaced via domestic distribution power house Ultra Records (NYC – USA), but due to the international release date occurring a couple of months ago, this one probably slipped under the radar for many of you.
The reason the package caught our attention at FunkyHouseMusic.com was the previous frustration of the international release’s lack of a straight up, proper peak-hour funky house interpretation. Well folks, insert Steve Smooth & JJ Flores to create the monster we’ve been waiting for…
Taking the truly awesome vocal, and underlaying a vicious bass line stacked with a powerfull 4/4 kick; the production package now has the essential club stormer. Much respect to Ultra records for believing in The Young Punx (the label recently signed the production outfit’s latest album for U.S. distribution), and additional respect goes out to The Young Punx for identifying Steve Smooth & JJ Flores to add value to the release.
