Beatport Upgrades to 3.0

Beatport Upgrades to 3.0The popular online digital store just went through a major overhaul, adding an improved interface and new features.

Some of the features include a ‘My Beatport’ section, which allows a user to subscribe to their favorite artist, label, or genre. Once subscribed, the system notifies the user when one of their subscriptions has new music. Other shopping improvements include new community drive features such as ‘Users Also Bought’ and ‘Email to a Friend’.

A premium design change for version 3.0 is the much-improved landing pages designed to better showcase the genres, artists and labels and their related content. Continued improvements have been made to the navigation adding several powerful filtering tools to improve shopping speed delivering measurable improvements to both our customers and label partners.

The previous version of Beatport, while contributing immensely to the store’s amazing success, was also plagued by numerous bugs and glitches. It is unknown whether or not version 3.0 has fixed those errors, or simply added more.
