The Hott 22 boys return with another original production, providing a crossover groover for the midtempo house crowd, complete with all their usual ingredients.
Their resume shines bright like the California sun, with original & remix projects that have gained international attention, and moved floors from the UK to Miami. The bar has been set high, as this duo as appeared on labels such as Gossip, Soulfuric, Defected, and countless others.
But this project my friends, falls sharply off the cliff, and the parachute backpack never opens. Attempting to create a piano house filtered funky floor mover, the tune simply lacks the infectious energy of previous efforts. Perhaps it is this reviewer’s familiarity with Hott 22′s resume of hits, but this tune just doesn’t stand proudly amongst the crowd.
